CARRYING LOVE IN ONE’S WALLET

Small Lock Key

I have been carrying this key in my wallet these last 8 years. It comes from a love-lock my girlfriend and I attached to a bridge in Paris. Today this may sound kitschy, but back then there weren’t many locks like this.

We broke up 2 years ago, but the small key has stayed with me. Only in the last 6 months have I felt able to separate from it. I guess I have just been waiting for the right moment to do so.
