A 1000 KIP-note from Laos

I kept this note from a 1994-95 trip to South-Asia which lasted several months. I could only spend a few days in Laos because we only had a transit visa for this country, but those days were a great time for me! I loved the atmosphere, the people who were really nice and helpful, the quiet and relaxed cities with low traffic and a lot of trees. . . . I have a very pleasant memory of this country and that’s why I kept this note.

I wonder how Laos is now and if I would still enjoy it so much!
